Mota-Engil wins new contracts worth 713 million euros
Mota-Engil will start operations in Rwanda and has won several contracts in Africa, Latin America and Portugal, totaling 713 million euros.

Mota-Engil has ensured awards in six different African markets, and in different technical areas of expertise within the infrastructure segment, for a total amount of 565 million euros
Mota-Engil will start operations in Rwanda with the expansion of Kigali International Airport, amounting to 26 million euros. In Angola, Mota-Engil has won road and civil construction works totaling 115 million euros; in Malawi, road and railway infrastructure works worth 109 million euros; in Mozambique, road and railway infrastructure works and support works to mining exploitation worth 233 million euros.
In South Africa, Mota-Engil consolidates its position by being awarded the construction of a hospital and apartments, as well in São Tomé and Príncipe with a tourism development and water supply structures totaling 13 million euros.
In Latin America, through its subsidiary, Empresa Construtora Brasil, Mota-Engil ensures the execution of the infrastructure and special structures of the Ferro de Carajás railway expansion project with an extension of 40 km in the State of Maranhão, for the Brazilian company Vale, worth 380 million Reais (117 million euros).
In Portugal, Mota-Engil has won contracts relating to “a road and civil construction infrastructure, worth approximately 30 million euros.”
