Mota-Engil wins contract worth 140 million euros

Mota-Engil has won a contract for the design, construction and operation of a landfill with the capacity to select and generate energy from biogas in Abidjan, in Ivory Coast, in an estimated value of approximately 140 million euros.

This contract includes an estimated variable component of approximately 40 million euros, depending of the tons moved, a seven year duration for a total capacity of 8.2 million tons and a construction component evaluated in approximately 48 million euros, which will be executed by Mota-Engil Africa.

With this award, Mota-Engil strengths its medium term order book and also strengths its activity in the waste area in Africa.
