The Foundation Manuel António da Mota signs an agreement in Mexico

FMAM will contribute to the promotion of the social responsibility policy of GISA, which is a subsidiary of the Mota-Engil Group in the environment field.

It was held in the city of León in the Mexican state of Guanajuato, the signing of the collaboration agreement between the Manuel António da Mota Foundation and the Vise Development Centre and GISA – Gestión e Innovación en Servicios Ambientales.

GISA is jointly owned by Mota-Engil Mexico and Construtora Pavimentadora Vise and specialises in the provision of services related with the integrated management of waste and operates in the state of Guanajuato and Baja California Sur and has a total of 230 public and private customers.

Under the terms agreed, the Manuel António da Mota Foundation will support GISA with the experience gained in the fields of educational, training, cultural and environmental development and social solidarity, true to its to its strategic plan of expanding its activities to all of the countries where the Mota-Engil Group has a presence, this agreement representing the start of its presence in Latin America.
