Its purpose is the development of integrated systems, through reforestation, afforestation, agroforestry projects (among others) that allow the economic, social and environmental development of the communities covered. And it offers a green investment opportunity that not only contributes to the ecological balance of the planet through carbon capture, but also supports biodiversity, empowers local communities, and provides financial returns through diversified revenue streams.

To this end, it promotes the training of local populations, thus contributing to the improvement of living conditions and the reduction of poverty.

The “Rare Maiombe” project in Angola presented at COP28, covers a significant area of 15 thousand hectares in the vicinity of the Maiombe rainforest in Cabinda. The initial investment was financed through a bank loan, allowing the acquisition of equipment and materials necessary for the project, as well as the start of the construction of greenhouses and the cultivation of 20 hectares of cocoa in a regime of cabruca, an agroforestry system that uses trees native to the region to provide shade for cocoa trees.

The “MoRe Malawi” project covers forest reserves in several regions, totaling approximately 353 thousand hectares, and a contract was recently signed for the concession of agroforestry projects, which aims to generate carbon credits.

The “WiRe Mozambique” project encompasses forest reserve areas totaling 500 thousand hectares, highlighting the signing of the memorandum of understanding to carry out studies in forest reserve areas through the generation of carbon credits.
