Project by Emerge – Real Estate Developers, the Rehabilitation of the former Industrial Slaughterhouse of Porto, in Portugal, is taking place to (re)adapt, (re)convert, (re)qualify, renovate and restore the existing buildings with the aim of obtaining multidisciplinary equipment, taking advantage of the high potential of the site.
The rehabilitation is based on:
- Rehabilitation and conversion of existing structures
- ii) use of sustainable and locally sourced materials;
- iii) implementation of mechanisms and devices to improve the efficiency of buildings, ensuring the incorporation of renewable energies. This project will represent an impact on the local economy and will contribute to the regeneration of the entire Corujeira area.
The Rehabilitation of the former Industrial Slaughterhouse of Porto is LEED certified.
