In 2023, Mota-Engil carried out a volunteer action with the DOMUS Humanitarian Association, as part of the Reconstruir Project, which aimed to contribute to the requalification of an old carpentry shop and the construction of housing for migrant and Portuguese families in need, in Braga.
The technical component of this project was ensured by the Domus Association, with support on the ground and monitoring of the action by the FMAM Volunteer Management team and carried out by the employees of the Mota-Engil Group, divided into working groups of 11 people, for each day.
6 fractions (5 tT3 and 1 T1) were rehabilitated, whose beneficiaries were refugee and Portuguese families, through 33 volunteers from Mota-Engil, with a total investment of €15,050.
